Join this 5-week introductory class, where you'll learn the basics that every improviser needs to know to create an epic scene, including:

Yes, And: The key to keeping scenes alive and thriving.

Physical Activity: Use your body to bring stories and characters to life.

Avoiding Questions: Discover why this rule helps create stronger, more dynamic scenes... and more!

This class is directed by the talented Certified Director Derick Cox, with stagehand support from a trained Stagehand. Whether you’re new to improv or just want to brush up on your skills, this class is the perfect place to jump in.

Led By Director Lily!

Lily Langen is a comedian currently living in Toronto, ON. Her background is primarily in live comedy such as stand-up, sketch, and improv. She won Regina’s Second-Best Stand-up Comedian award in 2020 and has performed on acclaimed shows such as Don’t Tell Comedy, Just For Laughs, Yuk Yuk’s, Roast Battle Toronto, and was a finalist on the Kenan Thompson Pop-up Festival. She runs multiple of her own shows, one of which was a part of Toronto’s first annual LadyFest. She’s done several comedic interviews for CBC radio and was hired to conduct an interview with one of Australia’s biggest comics; Randy Feltface.
