Learn More About Kristin!

Kristin is a theatre educator, director, and improv instructor based in Northeast Ohio who has spent the past two decades helping students discover confidence, creativity, and connection through the arts. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Hope College and later completed a Master of Arts in Teaching at Kent State University.

Kristin currently teaches theatre, improv, public speaking, and dramatic arts courses for grades 8–12 at Wooster City Schools, where she creates energetic, performance-based experiences centered around storytelling, collaboration, and creative risk-taking. Her work includes both traditional and adaptive dramatic arts classes designed to make theatre fun, welcoming, and accessible for students of all abilities. She has directed award-winning productions, coached speech and debate students, facilitated improv showcases, and built partnerships with schools and community organizations to bring performance experiences to a wide range of audiences.

In addition to her work in education, Kristin has experience facilitating team-building and leadership programs through experiential education and ropes course programming. She loves the way improv encourages people to listen, support one another, think creatively, and take positive risks. Discovering the Improvaneer Method felt like a natural extension of that work, and she is excited to continue helping others grow through play, spontaneity, and authentic human connection.
